| ADMISSION AND GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS |
Admission Requirements
- Degree from a recognized university in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Education, Procurement and Supply Management, and other business-related fields, as well as pharmacy and other related fields of health and hard sciences with management experience in managing organizations.
- A minimum CGPA as per Bahir Dar University Senate legislation for regular, continuing, summer and distance students.
- Pass the entrance examination in aptitude test and general logistics and supply chain related knowledge test.
Applicants coming from other disciplines are required to take bridging courses such as Introduction to Logistics and Introduction to Supply Chain Management, provided by the department as an extracurricular activity without extra tuition fee and time requirement to complete the degree.
Graduation Requirements
The graduate will be awarded the degree of Masters in Logistics and Supply Chain Management upon completing a total of 32 credit hours of study (119 credit points) and meeting the score requirements in BDU’s graduation requirements for master’s level.
| DURATION OF THE PROGRAM |
The program takes 24 months (including break) for regular students for both course and thesis work; two and a half years for extension students; and three years for summer students. The last semester is exclusively allotted to thesis work.
