Admission Requirements

Applicants seeking admission to the M.Sc. in Economics (Development Economics) program must meet the following requirements:

• Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Economics or one of its subfields, or Statistics, from a recognized and authorized higher education institution. 
• Pass the entrance examination, which covers: 
• Introductory Microeconomics 
• Introductory Macroeconomics 
• Calculus

• Econometrics

Graduation Requirements

To qualify for the award of the M.Sc. in Economics (Development Economics), students must fulfill all requirements stipulated in the University's Senate legislation.

1. Attain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00. 
2. Successfully complete all required coursework without receiving F or D grades in any course. 
3. Complete and successfully defend an acceptable master's thesis, obtaining a passing evaluation in accordance with the University's Senate legislation.
