Background
The College of Business and Economics was established in 2002 G.C. at the faculty level to address the nation’s urgent need for a skilled workforce in an increasingly competitive business environment, both domestically and internationally. In its early years, the faculty offered only a few diploma and undergraduate degree programs in Business and Economics. However, it has since undergone rapid and comprehensive expansion, now offering both bachelor's and master's degree programs.
The undergraduate programs include Accounting and Finance, Management, Economics, Marketing Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Tourism and Hotel Management. These programs are available through regular, evening (continuing education), and summer modalities.
Beyond producing skilled professionals—including business and logistics managers, accountants, economists, and marketing specialists—the college upholds its public responsibility by contributing to national and regional development. It actively engages in research, community service, policy dialogue, and other initiatives to support the country's growth and progress.
