Mission
To ensure the highest quality teaching-learning, research, community service, and administration in EiTEX through the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality
Overall responsibility
● Develop guidelines and measures internal systems of quality enhancement and capacity building of staff on a short or long-term basis and students as well
● Actively involved in the activity of curriculum development and review
● Evaluate the institute’s continuous assessment of mid-semester and final exams and grading standards
● Plan and work with internal and external stakeholders towards programs and laboratory accreditation
Means of discharging the responsibilities
● Member of the Academic Standards and Curriculum Review Committee
● Member of the research, community services, technology transfer, and industry linkage council
● Chairs the examination board and monitors the activities of the testing center
● Chairs internal institutional quality audit
● Oversees compliance of EiTEX’s teaching-learning activities with BDUS’s legislation
● Lead and monitor laboratory accreditation
● Lead and monitor staff evaluation and appraisal
● Leads program accreditation team
Capacity Building Office
Capacity refers to the ability of an individual, group, organization, or system to deliver intended outcomes, while capacity building refers to improving the ability of the entity to perform.
Overview of the office's major services
● Training needs assessment and request
The academic (deans, facility managers, and heads) and management (scientific directors, deputy scientific director, and different offices) wing of EiTEX, and any stakeholders who need training from the capacity building office submit training needs.
● Selecting and negotiating trainers based on different criteria
The selection criteria include academic rank, number of publications, efficiency (academic performance), an international certificate in the area (one), a national certificate in the area (one), and a University certificate in the area (one)
● Providing training based on the training needs
Different training was provided and will be provided by the office including Academic Proposal Writing, academic Software, Grant project writing, Industrial Training (Technical), etc.

Education Quality Assurance Office
Quality assurance involves the systematic review of educational provision to maintain and improve its quality, equity and efficiency. It encompasses school self-evaluation, external evaluation (including inspection), the evaluation of teachers and school leaders, and student assessments.
● To support the teaching-learning, research, and community services offered to be high quality, relevant, and up to standard
● To evaluate the relevance and quality of different programs and academic units of the institute
● To ensure there are enough inputs, course materials as well as exams in the teaching-learning process.
● To issue policies, and guidelines against which the standards of input-process-output of teaching-learning, research, and community services of the institute can be assessed, audited, and enhanced
● Assertion of the concepts of quality assurance and accreditation as well as total quality management at all levels of activities
● Determination of the institute's needs for the proper implementation of a quality assurance system that complies with national and international standards
● To develop internal procedures for periodic peer review, courses/program review, and internal self–assessment processes.

● Conduct course evaluations every semester and annual satisfaction surveys of students and teachers.
- Program accreditation process:
Accreditation serves to improve the quality of educational programs, foster self-reflection and self-examination, and help all constituencies of the accredited program be better informed about its goal and progress.
