Tana Research and Diagnostic Center's 3D Technology Hub Concludes the first-round Training

Tana Research and Diagnostic Center (TRDC), one of the research institutions under Bahir Dar University's College of Medicine and Health Sciences, has concluded the first-round 3D printing technology training program.

This initiative, led by Professor Gyeong-Man Kim, a distinguished expert in biomedical engineering, aims to strengthen healthcare delivery through advanced technological integration.

Empowering Healthcare Professionals with 3D Printing, the training session attracted professionals from various colleges and institutes, focusing on the fundamentals and practical applications of 3D printing in research, education, and healthcare innovation.

Participants gained hands-on experiences which are crucial for enhancing patient care and medical education.

Zewdie Mekonnen, the Corporate Director of TRDC, emphasized the center's commitment to continuous technological advancement. He stated that such trainings are part of a broader effort to strengthen technology-driven capacity within the healthcare system.

As the center continues to offer such training programs, it is expected to play a pivotal role in building a resilient and technologically adept healthcare workforce.
