Logistics Supply System Training Underway at Tibebe Ghion Specialized Hospital

The first round of Logistics Supply System training for porters, drivers, and cleaners is currently underway at Tibebe Ghion Specialized Hospital, in collaboration with the Senselet Project and the Amhara Regional Health Bureau.

The training is designed to strengthen operational efficiency and improve service delivery by enhancing participants’ knowledge and practical skills in key logistics functions. The program covers core modules on communication, warehouse management, and transportation, all of which are critical components of an effective hospital supply chain.

This capacity-building initiative places particular emphasis on empowering support staff, recognizing their essential role in ensuring smooth hospital operations and uninterrupted health services. By targeting groups that are often overlooked in formal professional development programs, the training contributes to a more inclusive and efficient healthcare system.

Hospital and college leadership have expressed appreciation to the Senselet Project for its continued support and innovative approach in promoting skills development among frontline support staff.
