Upcoming Events: Hub of Africa Fashion Week (HAFW)

On behalf of Hub of Africa Fashion Week (HAFW), I am delighted to extend an invitation to your institution to participate in the Emerging Designer Showcase at HAFW 2026, taking place from January 13–17, 2026, in Addis Ababa.

As part of our continued commitment to supporting the next generation of Ethiopian fashion talent, HAFW is curating a special installation dedicated to fashion school graduates. This platform will highlight the creativity, technical skill, and innovation of young designers entering the industry.

HAFW will select a total of 15 designers—five (5) from each of the following schools:

- Mafi Fashion Academy & Lab.

- Bahir Dar University.

- Next Fashion College.

Each selected designer will have the opportunity to showcase a capsule collection, consisting of:

- 2 pieces displayed on mannequins, and

- 4 additional pieces displayed on a rack

This installation will be featured throughout the event, offering young designers visibility in front of international and local media, buyers, brand reprsentatives, PR agencies, influencers, and cultural stakeholders.
