Research Interest | My primary research interest focuses on tuberculosis (TB), specifically its epidemiology, prevention, control strategies, and the social and structural determinants that influence its persistence in vulnerable populations. I am particularly interested in integrated TB control strategies, such as linking TB screening with HIV programs, maternal health services, and community-based interventions. In addition, my focus is on strengthening health systems and policies, aimed at improving TB diagnosis, treatment adherence, and prevention, especially through innovative and culturally appropriate approaches. My research focuses on infectious and non-infectious disease control, maternal and child health, and public health implications of communicable and non-communicable diseases, including cardiovascular, diabetes, cancer, and mental health disorders. In addition, my research focuses on improving maternal and child health through improved healthcare access, nutritional interventions, and disease prevention programs. My aim is to enhance public health interventions through interdisciplinary and community-based methods, aiming to decrease health disparities and improve health outcomes in vulnerable and underserved communities. |
