🏥 Visitor’s Policy

Tibebe Ghion Specialized Hospital is committed to ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our patients. We welcome visitors as part of the healing process and ask that all guests follow the guidelines below to maintain a peaceful, respectful, and secure environment for everyone.

General Guidelines

  • All visitors must follow infection prevention protocols such as hand hygiene and wearing masks when required.
  • Visitors must respect patient privacy, limit noise, and refrain from taking photos or videos without consent.
  • Only two visitors are allowed per patient during designated hours.
  • Children under the age of 12 are not encouraged to visit unless necessary and must be supervised at all times.
  • Visitors may be restricted or limited during emergencies, outbreaks, or based on a patient's condition, as determined by clinical staff.
  • Visitors are requested to avoid bringing food or flowers into critical care units unless permitted by medical personnel.

Visiting Hours

Weekdays (Monday–Friday):

  • Morning: 6:30 – 7:30 local time
  • Midday: 11:00 – 12:00 local time

Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays:

  • Morning: 5:30 – 7:30 local time
  • Midday: 10:00 – 12:00 local time

Visitors are kindly requested to respect these time frames for the well-being and rest of our patients.
