Bahir Dar, July 9, 2025 — Warm congratulations to Dr. Dabere Nigatu Weldetsadik on the successful defense of his PhD dissertation titled:
“Enhancing Maternal and Newborn Health Care Quality Using eHealth Innovation in Public Health Facilities in West Gojjam Zone, Northwest Ethiopia: Implementation Research.”

We celebrate his remarkable achievement and look forward to the positive impact his research will have on maternal and child health services in Ethiopia and beyond.

The dissertation was examined by Professor Kassahun Lemu from the University of Gondar and Dr. Wubegzer Mekonen from Addis Ababa University.

The session was moderated by Dr. Alemtsehay Mekonen.

The hooding ceremony took place immediately after the announcement of the result.
