College of Medicine and Health Sciences (CMHS), Bahir Dar University, recently paid a collaborative visit to Rennes I University, France, as part of its ongoing efforts to expand global partnerships in education, research, and innovation.

During the high-level discussions, both institutions explored a wide range of potential areas for collaboration. A key focus of the dialogue was the establishment of a state-of-the-art Mycology Laboratory at Tana Research and Diagnostic Center under the college.

The exchange visit also served to further consolidate the existing partnership between the two institutions. Faculty mobility, joint research initiatives, and capacity-building programs were highlighted as central pillars of the evolving collaboration.
