April 27, 2025-Bahir Dar: The Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Tibebe Ghion Specialized Hospital (TGSH, CMHS), successfully completed the first round of the Non-Operative Fracture Management Course for medical interns.

Held on April 26 and 27, the two-day workshop featured both lecture and practical sessions, focusing on equipping graduating medical interns with essential skills and knowledge to manage trauma emergency cases effectively.

The training was made possible through the generous sponsorship of AO Alliance and marks an important step toward strengthening trauma care competency among future medical professionals.

The department expressed its appreciation to the AO Alliance for its support and emphasized that similar training opportunities would continue to be offered to maintain and improve the standard of trauma management education for future health professionals.
