The College of Business and Economics (CBE) of Bahir Dar University is a leading academic and professional institution dedicated to developing competent, innovative, ethical, and socially responsible professionals who contribute to Ethiopia’s economic and social development.

Established at the faculty level in 2002, the College has evolved into a dynamic center of education, research, innovation, and community engagement. Over the years, it has expanded its academic programs and strengthened its contribution to the development of skilled human resources for the public, private, and non-governmental sectors.

The College currently offers undergraduate programs in Accounting and Finance, Economics, Management, Marketing Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Tourism Management, and Hotel Management, delivered through different modes of study. It also offers postgraduate and doctoral programs in several fields of business and economics.
