Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Bahir Dar University (BiT-BDU), hosting the 13th EAI International Conference on the Advancements of Science and Technology (EAI ICAST 2025). The prestigious international conference officially opened today and is being held both onsite and via Zoom webinars, bringing together distinguished scholars, researchers, and professionals from around the world.

This year’s ICAST conference has received over 262 paper submissions, out of which 104 have been accepted for presentation. The sessions are being conducted in parallel tracks, showcasing cutting-edge research in science, technology, innovation, and sustainable development.

The conference is attended by the presence of Bahir Dar University’s top management, keynote speakers, international researchers, and BiT-BDU stakeholders. Participants are engaging in rich academic discussions, knowledge exchange, and collaborative networking opportunities aimed at fostering scientific and technological advancements.

The sessions will continue through tomorrow, covering a wide range of topics across engineering, information technology, applied sciences, and innovation-driven research — reaffirming BiT-BDU’s role as a hub of academic excellence and scientific progress.
