The PhD dissertation "Fabrication and Characterization of Tapioca Starch-Based Biopolymer Compounds and Study on Their Melt Spinnability" was successfully defended by Mr. Selamu Temesgen Lambiso.

A Fashion Summer Camp for kids of Bahir Dar University community on drawing and painting; modeling and confidence building; and cinematic and theatrical performance has been given at EiTEX, Bahir Dar University

Sixty-two books are donated by Mr. Tamru Delelegn, who is the academic staff member and dedicated community servant of Bahir Dar University, commemorating the 62nd years of establishment of Bahir Dar University. Last year, Mr. Tamru has donated sixty-one books which most of them are rare to find on the market easily.

The workshop focuses on validating need-based, new, and nationally and internationally significant undergraduate and postgraduate Textile, Fashion, and design courses.
