በኢትዮጵያ የአሜሪካ አምባሳደር ኧርቪን ማሲንጋ በባህር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ በመገኘ የኢትዮጵያ ቴክስታይል እና ፋሽን ቴክኖሎጂ ኢንስቲትዩትን ጨምሮ ሌሎች የልህቀት ማዕከላትን የተመለከቱ ሲሆን፣ ከዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕሬዚዳንት ዶ/ር መንገሻ አየነ እና ከሌሎች ከፍተኛ አመራሮች ጋር በሁለትዮሽ ትብብር ዙሪያ ፍሬያማ ውይይት አድርገዋል።

Alumni Stories: Pedawian Donated Books to EiTEX Community Library. 24 Pedawian who were graduates of Bahir Dar University Peda campus, dominantly from the early 90s, had donated 871 books worth 297 thousand birr to BDU’s EiTEX Community Library.

The Second National Conference on Multidisciplinary Discourse (NCMD-2026) was successfully hosted by the School of Pre-Engineering and Sciences (SPES) at the Ethiopian Institute of Textile and Fashion Technology (EiTEX), Bahir Dar University. The conference brought together scholars, researchers, and practitioners from diverse fields to exchange ideas, share research findings, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration.
