  •  Lecturer, researcher (both PI and member) and Department head at Debre Markos University from 2014 up to now
  • Lecturer and researcher at Wachemo University and Hossana Teachers’ Training College from 2012 to 2014

  •  Four years in teaching and two years in supervision at preparatory School from 2005 to 2011

  • PhD in Environment and natural resources management(Climate change,  Livelihood and LULC and adaptation)
  • MA in Geography and Environmental studies: Specialization: Physical Geography (Land and Biotic Resource Management) from Bahir Dar University  (2008-2010)
  • BED Degree in geography and Environmental studies from Alemaya University  (2001-2005)
  • Certified in computer skill, grant proposal writing and project cycle management and in educational program Evaluation (2014-2017) from Debre Markos University.
  • Engaged in National policy training (Building Democratic system in Ethiopia, Rural and Urban Development, professional Capacity Building and others from 2005 to 2006)
  • Trained and completed CPD (Continuous professional development) in Debre 
  •  Markos University respectively.
  • Trained in different anti-corruption and supervision forums in 2010 and 2011 G.C at anti-corruption institution.
