(October 25, 2025, Bahir Dar) — Tibebe Ghion Specialized Hospital, in collaboration with a team of specialist doctors from Israel led by Professor Hanoch Kashtan, has successfully provided advanced laparoscopic surgery services to patients.
The surgical campaign was jointly conducted by the hospital’s Department of Surgery and the visiting Israeli team, focusing on a range of complex procedures including laparoscopic cholecystectomy, esophageal and gastric disease surgeries, gastric cancer operations, hepatopancreaticobiliary surgeries, and colorectal disease interventions.
