Work Experience

¨ [ 08/07/2015 – 08/07/2018 ]:  Assistant lecturer at Bahir Dar University

Assistant lecturer for undergraduate textile engineering students, specializing in laboratory

work and tutorial classes at my institute, and actively participating in research and community service. Teaching laboratory sessions for courses such as Textile Testing I & II, Textile Fibers, Textile Pretreatment and Final Finishing, Textile Coloration, Applied Inorganic and Organic Chemistry, and Colour Measurement and Communication.

¨ [ 01/07/2018 – 30/08/2022 ]:  Lecturer in engineering 

I have served as a lecturer for undergraduate students while also advising graduate students and

teaching both lectures and laboratory sessions for courses such as Textile Fibers, Textile Pretreatment and Final Finishing, Textile Coloration, Applied Inorganic and Organic Chemistry, and Colour Measurement and Communication. Additionally, I am actively engaged in research, community service, and committee work.

I was promoted to the rank of Assistant Professor based on my experience, research publications, 

and dedication to my work at the institute and university. I have authored over 12 publications in reputable journals. Currently, I am working as an expert on a project titled 'Catalyzing the Market for Menstrual Health Products in Ethiopia' under the PRRC program, sponsored by AFD (Agence Française de Développement).
