ICT Development office
Background
The ICT Development Office is responsible for the development, customization, deployment, and continuous improvement of information systems across EITEX. It manages the institute’s Local Area Network (LAN), mail servers, and content management systems.
The office also handles system troubleshooting, maintenance of electronic devices, and network infrastructure. In addition, it proposes and implements ICT solutions to support teaching, learning, and administrative activities.
Roles and Responsibilities
l Administer, maintain, and upgrade the institute’s network infrastructure and network devices.
l Implement network and security management tools to ensure the safety of institutional data and resources.
l Analyze requirements and design solutions for new network implementations and expansion projects.
l Administer, configure, and manage the institute’s mail and antivirus servers.
l Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain ICT systems and services.
l Provide technical support and ensure continuous system availability.
l Recommend and implement innovative ICT solutions to enhance academic and administrative efficiency.
