Call for Mega project Concept Papers (2018/19 fiscal year) Application deadline: May 31, 2018

The College of Medicine and Health Sciences calls for mega project proposals for the year 2018/19. The specific objectives of the call are to Strengthen research rigor and team collaboration at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences; Enhance advances in research work as result of team work between senior and young researchers; Encourage multidisciplinary research; Strengthen nation and College capacity in management of staff and student research and enhance self-sufficiency; Gather mega project proposals on essential research issues and investigate; Encourage thematic and/or mega project research. The proposals to be submitted shall focus on the following major priorities including (1) maternal, child and neonatal health (2) infectious and communicable diseases (3) non-communicable diseases (4) quality, accessibility and equitability of health care (5) impacts of environment and development on health.
