Dr. Nekatbeb Feleke is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. He earned his medical degree from Bahir Dar University and completed his specialty training in Psychiatry at Addis Ababa University.

Dr. Nekatbeb has served as a Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator at the Department of Psychiatry, Bahir Dar University. He has held academic leadership positions, including Head of the Department of Psychiatry, and currently serves as Deputy Director for Medical School and Education, where he oversees curriculum delivery, faculty development, and educational quality assurance. He is an alumnus of the Nile Executive Leadership Academy (NELA) and a co-founder of Vision for Holistic Community Development (VHCD).

He has been actively involved in curriculum development, clinical training, student mentoring, career development, and health systems strengthening. His teaching and research interests include psychiatry, mental health systems, medical education leadership, health systems governance, and equitable healthcare delivery.
