Dr. Animut Tadele Dagnaw is an Assistant Professor of English at the College of Education, where he combines teaching, research, and institutional leadership. He holds a PhD and an MA in English Language from Addis Ababa University, and a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Gondar. He has participated in two Erasmus+ Staff Mobility programs, in Spain and Türkiye, further broadening his academic, international and cross-cultural experience and intercultural competence. 

In addition to his academic role, Dr. Animut serves as Director of Strategic Communication and Partnership at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences/Tibebe Ghion Specialized Hospital, Bahir Dar University, where he leads institutional communication strategy and partnership development. He also serves as an Executive Member of the Ethiopian English Language Professionals Association, Bahir Dar Branch.

He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Leadership Practice from Bahir Dar University and is an alumnus of the Nile Executive Leadership Academy. Dr. Animut is passionate about communication and youth development, and brings together a strong foundation in academic scholarship, research, applied leadership, and community engagement to advance language education and institutional excellence. Known for his authenticity, honesty, and hardworking spirit, he approaches his work with enthusiasm, dependability, and a strong commitment to collaboration.
