Dr. Solomon Worku Beza is a graduate of medicine with international master’s in public health and fellow in medical education with 24 years of experience in academia, public health programs and capacity building. He is certified coach and leadership trainer. He received various leadership training including on strategic leadership from John Hopkins University and on coaching from Erikson academy in Canada.
He is highly engaged in the development and review of health system leadership courses. He has conducted numerous training courses on health systems, health care and academic leadership. He has also mentored and coached several individuals working in the health system.
Solomon has assumed various academic and technical leadership positions in the past over 2 decades in both government and international NGOs and currently serving as senior advisor to the Ministry of health.
