I am a medical doctor and public health expert with over 18 years of experience in strategic planning, program design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. I have been working at USAID/Ethiopia as the Deputy Director for the Health Office for the last 17 years. My area of experience ranges from infectious disease programs like TB, HIV and malaria to Health System Strengthening portfolio like Health Care Financing, Human Resources for Health, Supply Chain Management System and Health information. I have extensive experience supporting the Ministry of Health (MoH) in high-level strategic and policy discussions.

I am married and a mother of 3 girls and 2 boys.
