Bahir Dar University’s Faculty of Computing is pleased to announce the opening of admissions for the upcoming academic year for both Regular and Extension (Evening/Weekend) programs. Qualified applicants who hold an equivalent qualification meeting the Ministry of Education’s cut-off points are invited to apply. The Faculty offers dynamic undergraduate and postgraduate programs in fields such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, and Computer Engineering, designed to equip students with cutting-edge technical skills and problem-solving capabilities. Admission Requirments

Applicants are required to submit the original and photocopies of their academic credentials, including degree certificates and other relevant certificates; an official academic transcript; a valid National Graduate Admission Test (NGAT) result; and a non-refundable application fee of ETB 300. Sponsored applicants must also provide a sponsorship letter, while PhD applicants must submit an advisor’s consent letter and a research concept note or dissertation synopsis. Interested candidates are encouraged to complete their registration by submitting all required documents within the announced admission period.
