ባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ ከሀገሪቱ የተለያዩ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ለመጡ ወጣቶች የላቀ የአመራር ጥበብ ስልጠና በይፋ አስጀምሯል። ይህ ስልጠና ወጣቶች መጪዋን ኢትዮጵያን የሚገነቡ ብቁ መሪዎች እንዲሆኑ ለማብቃት ያለመ መሆኑ ተገልጿል።

የባሕር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ ፕሬዝዳንት ዶ/ር መንገሻ አየነ በመክፈቻ ንግግራቸው፣ መሪነት በቀላሉ እንደማይገኝ ገልጸው፣ ሰልጣኞች ለሚያጋጥሟቸው መሰናክሎች ሳይንበረከኩ በራስ መተማመን እንዲመሩ አሳስበዋል። ዩኒቨርሲቲውም በስልጠና ቆይታቸው ተገቢውን ድጋፍ እንደሚያደርግላቸው በመናገር ባሕርዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ ናይል የላቀ አመራር ጥበብ አካዳሚ የተሰኘ የአካዳሚክ ክፍል በማቋቋም በሀገራችን የአመራር ዘርፍ አስተዋጽኦ ለማበርከት እየሰራ መሆኑን ተናግረዋል።

ስልጠናው በዩኒቨርሲቲው ናይል የላቀ አመራር አካዳሚ የሚሰጥ ሲሆን፣ ወጣቶቹ ለ27 ቀናት ከ13 ምሁራን ጋር በመሆን ፍልስፍና የተቀላቀለበትና እውቅና የሚያስገኝ ስልጠና ይወስዳሉ ተብሏል።

የናይል የላቀ አመራር አካዳሚ ዋና ሥራ አስፈፃሚ ፕሮፌሰር የሺጌታ ገላው፣ ሰልጣኞች የሀገራችንን ችግር መርጠው ጨለማውን የሚያበሩ ብሩህ አእምሮ ያላቸው ወጣት አመራሮች እንዲሆኑ አሳስበዋል። በስልጠናው ላይ የተሳተፉት 34 ወጣቶች እስካሁን ባለው ቆይታቸው የተደረገላቸውን ልዩ እንክብካቤ አድንቀው፣ የተቀበሉት መልዕክት ቁርጠኝነታቸውን እንደሚያጠናክር ገልጸዋል።

Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia – July 16, 2025 – Bahir Dar University (BDU) is proud to announce the official launch of its highly anticipated Presidential Young Leadership Training Program (PYLT-P 2025 Cohort). This transformative initiative, hosted by Bahir Dar University, is designed to cultivate a new generation of creative, indigenous, and transformative leaders poised to shape the future of Ethiopia.

Embodying its motto, "Wisdom at the source of the Blue Nile," Bahir Dar University provides a unique opportunity for young aspiring leaders to immerse themselves in leadership wisdom directly from the heart of Ethiopia. The Advanced Leadership Summer Training, a cornerstone of the PYLT-P, officially commenced with participants from various universities nationwide.

During the program's opening ceremony, Dr. Mengesha Ayene, President of Bahir Dar University, emphasized the demanding yet rewarding journey of leadership. He inspired the trainees to approach challenges with unwavering self-confidence and resilience, assuring them of the university's full support throughout their 27-day intensive program. Dr. Mengesha also highlighted BDU's commitment to national leadership development through the establishment of the Bahir Dar University Nile Executive Leadership Academy (BDU-NELA), the academic home of this prestigious training.

Under the guidance of Professor Yeshigeta Gelaw, CEO of the BDU-NELA, the 34 young participants will engage with 13 distinguished scholars, undertaking a philosophy-infused and accredited curriculum. Professor Yeshigeta urged the trainees to become "bright-minded young leaders who can identify and illuminate the problems of our country," challenging them to be agents of positive change.

The participants have already expressed their appreciation for the exceptional care and impactful messages received, underscoring how this experience is solidifying their commitment to national service.
