(መስከረም 15/2018ዓ.ም ISC/BiT) በአፍላቶክሲን ብክለት ላይ የሚደረገውን ትግል የሚያግዝ ተስፋ ሰጪ አዲስ መሣሪያ በባህር ዳር ቴክኖሎጂ ኢንስቲትዩት ተመራማሪዎች እና ዊዝደም ኢንተርፕራይዝ ጋር በመተባበር ይፋ ተደርጎ በዛሬው ዕለት ለአውደ ርዕይ ቀርቧል። ይህ አዲስ ፈጠራ፣ ቀላል፣ ወጪ ቆጣቢ የሆነው የእርጥበት መለኪያ ኪት፣ የደረቁ ምግቦችንና መኖ ምርቶችን ከብክለት ለመከላከል ታስቦ የተዘጋጀ ነው።
በቴክኖሎጅ ኢንስቲትዩት በኬሚካልና ምግብ ምህንድስና ፋኩልቲ ተመራማሪዎች በምርምር ተፈትሾ ተግባራዊነቱ የተረጋገጠ፣ አጠቃቀሙ ቀላል እንዲሁም የተጠቃሚዉን የመግዛት አቅምን ያገናዘበ በእህል፣ ጥራጥሬ፣ ቅመማ ቅመም፣ የደረቁ የአትክልትና ፍራፍሬ ውጤቶች፣ እንዲሁም የመኖ ምርቶችን በመበከል ተመጋቢዎችን ለካንሰር ተጋላጭ በማድረግና ወጪ ንግድን በማስተጓጎል የሚታወቀው አፍላቶክሲንን መከላከል የሚያስችል ቀላል ቴክኖሎጂ መሆኑ ተገልጿል፡፡
ይህ ቴክኖሎጂ ለአፍላቶክሲን መበከል መንሰኤ የሆነውን የእርጥበት መጠን በማሳወቅ ከላይ የተጠቀሱት የምግብና መኖ ዓይነቶች ለክምችት ከመዘጋጀታቸው ወይንም በማከማቻ ከረጢት ከመታሽጋቸው በፊት በበቂ ሁኔታ መድረቃቸውን ለማረጋገጥና በክምችት ወቅትም ተቀያያሪ የሆነውን የርጥበት መጠን ለመከታተል የሚያስችል ዘዴ መሆኑ ተገልጿል።
ይህንን የርጥበት መለኪያ በአቅርቦት ሰንሰለት ላይ ያሉ ተዋናዮች፣ በተለይም አርሶ አደሮች፣ የአርሶአደር መሰረታዊ ማህበራትና ስብሳቢ ነጋዴዎች እንዲጠቀሙት የባህር ዳር ዩኒቨርሲቲ ተቋም የሆነው ዊዝደም ኢንተርፕራይዝ ከ RAISE- FS (Resilient Agriculture for Inclussive and Sustainable Ethiopian Food System) ባገኘው የኢኖቬሸን ፈንድ ድጋፍ ታግዞ ቴክኖሎጅውን (ምርቱን) ለገበያ ማቅረብ መቻሉ ተጠቅሷል።

(SEPTEMBER 15/2018 E. ISC/BiT) A promising new tool that helps the fight against aflatoxin pollution has been put on display today by Bahir Dar Institute of Technology and Wisdom Enterprise. This innovative, simple, cost-effective humidity measurement kit is designed to protect dry foods and fertilizer products from contamination.
It has been proven that it is a simple technology that has been tested and proven by the researchers of the Faculty of Chemical and Food Engineering at the Institute of Technology, which is easy to use and has the ability to buy the user. It has been stated that it is a technology that can prevent aflatoxin that is known to contaminate food products, making the eaters vulnerable to cancer and interfere with the cost of trade.
This technology is a method to inform the level of moisture that causes a flatoxin contamination to ensure that the above mentioned foods are dry enough before being prepared for storage or packed in storage bags and monitor the variable moisture levels during storage.
It has been mentioned that Bahirdar University's Wisdom Enterprise has been able to present the technology (product) to the market with the help of the Innovation Fund received by RAISE- ES (Resilient Agriculture for Inclusive and Sustainable Ethiopian Food System) for the help of the innovation fund.
