University of East Anglia

Established in 1963 in Norwich, Norfolk, United Kingdom, the University of East Anglia (UEA) has a student population of about 16,872. Out of this, 3,984 are postgraduate, and 2,820 are international students. The University has a total of 3,712 staff. It is a university with high ranking globally. For example, it stood 21st on the Times/Sunday Times Good University Guide in 2021, and 25th on the Complete University Guide in 2021.

The UNESCO Chair programme builds directly on the expertise of the UEA’s Literacy and Development Group (LDG), which brings together researchers in education and international development from across the University of East Anglia.
