Ermiyas Tsehay Birhanu is a Lecturer and former post-graduate class student at Bahir Dar University (BDU) and now he is faculty member at Woldia University department of Adult Education and community development (AECD). He is also a member of BDU researchers’ team for GRTA-funded Family and Intergenerational Literacy and Learning (FILL) Project. He has an experience in serving at the public service and his Masters’ Thesis topic was “Civil Servants’ Workplace Learning in Amhara Region: Assessment of the Practices, Potentials, Readiness, and Challenges” which was conducted by using both qualitative and quantitative approach. His research interest includes Lifelong Learning, Workplace learning, Indigenous knowledge, Literacy, Adult education, Community development, and social Change etc.
