Bahir Dar University in collaboration with British Council and European Union is currently running a project titled “Enabling University Peace Education/ EUPE.”
The project calls for interested and qualified applicants to apply for the following three different engagements.
1. A three-day intensive research capacity building training- the training is going to be held in Addis Ababa from 5-7 December 2022. A total of 15 researchers will participate in the training and the project will provide research stipends to 8 researchers to conduct pertinent researches.
2. Module Writing- 2 qualified module/ content writers- content outlines of the module will be provided by EUPE and the project will facilitate and organize workshops on module development with the EUPE project team.
3. Master and Co-trainers- 7 Master Trainers and 8 Co-trainers are needed to train some selected Bahir Dar University teachers and Undergraduate students on “Peace Education.” EUPE project will provide the training of trainers training to the master trainers and co-trainers on the peace education modules. The master trainers and co-trainers will have the responsibility of cascading their training takeaways by training 533 undergraduate students based on the Peace Education module.
