A book written by Bahir Dar University- School of Law professors unveiled

A book written by Bahir Dar University- School of Law professors and published with a financial support by USAID Justice Activity in Ethiopia is unveiled

It is recalled that Bahir Dar University School of Law funded by USAID Justice Activity in Ethiopia has been conducting a national study on master's degree programs under the title “Nationwide assessment and evaluation of graduate programs in Law (LL.M programs) offred by different Universties in Ethiopia’’.

The results of the study were published by USAID and handed over to Bahir Dar University School of Law in a colorful handover ceremony  attended by various senior government officials and stakeholders on March 25, 2020 at the Inter Luxury Hotel. During the handover program, the law school teacher and study coordinator, Mr Alebachew Berhanu, gave a brief overview of the study process, the findings and the recommendations. It is learned that, before completing the study, the findings and  the study process was presented in the presence of representatives from all universities that teach Law, justice institutions  and the Ministry of Education, and a lot of important inputs were obtained.

The Dean of the Law School, Bahir Dar University, Mr. Tegen Zergaw, who received the book, thanked the researchers who made significant contributions to bringing the study to completion, USAID Justice for financing the project and others who contributed and supported the project in various ways during the course of the study. The dean asserted that the school, in collaboration with stakeholders, has the readiness, desire and capacity to effectively execute similar kinds of professional undertakings.
