Book and reference materials donation

Bahir Dar University received more than 80 reference books

Devin Laruelarue Ford who is from United States of America donated more than 80 reference books and audio CDs on the history of African black people for the use of the graduate program of Humanities Faculty, the Bahir Dar University.
 
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Devin Ford said that audio recordings of speeches by well-known professors, including various literary works and history books based on the history of black people are submitted to the Faculty of Humanities of Bahir Dar University because Ethiopia is seen as the foundation of black American freedom,.
 
Speaking in the ceremony, Dean of Faculty of Humanities- Bahir Dar University Dr Sefa Meka stated that the book donation initiated by the personal effort of the American Davin Ford plays paramount importance for postgraduate class students and researchers especially in the fields of social science, literature, journalism and political science as the resources are not easily available.
 
Dr. Sefa added that Ethiopians who have been educated, taught and have served in various administrative capacities at Bahir Dar University and are currently in various parts of the world are invited to serve Bahir Dar University wherever they are through sending invitations of calls of international projects and other related matters that will benefit their University.
