Banner Exhibition at the RUFORUM 2022 at Harare, Zimbabwe held

Bahir Dar University has celebrated its 60th Anniversary with a banner Exhibition at the RUFORUM 2022 at Harare, Zimbabwe

A delegation from  Bahir Dar University led by the Vice President for Information and Strategic Communication, Dr. Zewdu Emiru, has celebrated BDU’s 60th anniversary with a banner exhibition at the 18th Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Harare, Zimbabwe from December 12-16, 2022.

The exhibition has enabled patrons to catch a glimpse of the story about BDU with a banner showcasing activities of  the University from the past to present.

At the occasion, the University also showcased its achievements in research and Innovations  as an emerging reputable University in Ethiopia and East Africa.

The Exhibition also afforded the University the opportunity to explore, forge new partnerships, network and international linkages to progressively achieve its vision of becoming a University that is strongly positioned with worldwide acclaim.

Moreover, the team has planned strategies which can help the University to fully exploit the opportunities of the RUFORUM.

The patrons, both locals and foreigners, who visited the stand expressed keen interest to enroll and work with the university in the near future.

BDU is among the 147 Universities from the African continent working with the RUFORUM.
