Damtew Darza (PhD) who has been president of Arbaminch University for the last 6 years graduated together with his elder brother Digafe Darza (PhD) in 1982 E.C from the former Bahir Dar Teachers College in Pedagogical Sciences program. Dr. Damtew got his PhD in Educational Psychology whereas Dr. Digafe earned PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Like his younger brother, Dr. Digafe is serving at Arbaminch University.
