About Research at the School

The SVM is committed to conducting demand-driven, cutting-edge research that addresses pressing challenges in animal and human health. Research at the school is multidisciplinary, with a focus on infectious and non-infectious animal diseases, antimicrobial resistance, One Health, zoonotic diseases, food safety, animal welfare, ethnoveterinary medicine, molecular and cellular biology, aquatic animal health, and the impact of climate change on animal health.
