Wubetie Adnew (PhD) is an Associate Professor of Plant Biology (Plant Ecophysiology) at Bahir Dar University, boasting a distinguished academic and leadership career spanning over two decades. His academic credentials include a PhD and a Master of Education in Biology, both earned from Bahir Dar University, complemented by a postgraduate certificate in Advanced Leadership Practice from the university's Nile Executive Leadership Academy (NELA) and a BSc from Hawassa University.

Dr. Wubetie has built a distinguished career marked by consistent advancement, from his early roles at Woreta Agricultural College to his current position at Bahir Dar University as Director of Academic Staff Affairs, a role preceded by his service as Head of the Biology Department.
