Bahir Dar University Board Approves Promotion of Seven Faculty Members to Full Professor

The Bahir Dar University Board, at its meeting held on 28 July 2026, approved the promotion of seven distinguished senior faculty members to the rank of Full Professor.

The newly promoted professors represent the Bahir Dar Institute of Technology and the Colleges of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Education, and Science. Their areas of expertise span Thermal Engineering, Soil Science, Animal Nutrition, Educational Policy and Leadership, Fisheries Science, Biomedical Sciences, and Applied Mathematics.
