Simachew Ayanaw Habitu (M.Sc.) is a Lecturer in the department of architecture, at the Institute of Land Administration, Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. He has graduated with his BSc degree in Architecture & Urban Planning, Mekelle University in 2008. He received his M.Sc.. degree in Architectural Engineering in 2013 from Politeecnico Di Milano (POLIMI), Milan, Italy. Apart from this, he has been working as chair of Architectural design course chair, & participated in various types of design & town planning projects, and community service activities.

Gediwon Yibelo Mesfin (M.Sc...) is a lecturer of architecture in the department of architecture, Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. He has graduated with his BSc degree at Adama University in 2001 E.C. He received his M.Sc.. degree in Advanced Architectural Design 2009 from Wollega University. Nekemet, Ethiopia. Apart from this, he has been working as chair of Building science and Building Construction materials, course chair of department. 

Tilahun Fikadie Alebachew (M.Sc.) is an lecturer at Bahir Dar University, Institute of Land Administration, Department of Architecture, Ethiopia. He graduated with a BSc degree in architecture and urban planning from Arba Minch University in 2016. He received his MSc degree in Architectural Engineering in 2024 from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. Apart from this, he has been the founder of the Black Lion Architecture firm, a studio for architecture, urbanism, and design rooted in sustainability.

Kalkidan Gedefaw Arega (M.Sc.) is an Architect ,urban planner, and lecturer at Bahir Dar University in Ethiopia. She earned her BSc. Degree in Architecture from Bahir Dar university and later pursued her MSc. Degree in Urban planning and Development at Addis Ababa University. Kalkidan is passionate about designing sustainable and functional spaces, contributing to various architectural and urban planning projects.

Elzalmon Getu (M.Sc..) is a lecturer in architecture specializing in theory, history, and design at the Institute of Land Administration, Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. He earned his BSc in Architecture and Urban Planning from Arba Minch University in 2016 and completed his M.Sc.. in Conservation of Urban and Architectural Heritage at Addis Ababa University in 2019. Additionally, he has served as Chair of the Theory and History of Architecture. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.

Amanuel Tesfaw Besefat (M.Sc.) is a lecturer in the Department of Architecture at Bahir Dar University, specializing in Architectural Theory and Design. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Bahir Dar University in 2019 and completed his Master’s degree in Environmental Architecture from Adama Science and Technology University in 2022. Since then, Amanuel has been actively engaged in teaching, research, and community service. His research focuses on architecture, urban development, and sustainability, with a particular emphasis on the built environment.

Abubeker Belay Asnake (M.Sc.) is a Professional Practicing Architect (PPAR) who has gained his Bachelor Degree (BSc.) in Architecture from Bahir Dar University (BDU) in the year 2017, and His (M.Sc...) degree in Construction Technology and Management from Bahir Dar Institute of Technology, Bahir Dar University in the year 2022. He has been teaching for more than 7 years since being awarded from the university as a medalist with good results in both degrees.
