Alelegn Wenedem Agegnehu (LLB, MSc, LLM, PhD) is an Assistant Professor and Researcher at the Institute of Land Administration, Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. His scholarly expertise lies in the domains of land policy and governance, as well as energy and climate law. Dr. Alelegn's research includes critical areas such as land governance, real property rights, clean energy investment, carbon markets, and climate finance.

Abebe Mengaw Wubie (Ph.D.) is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Land Administration, Bahir Dar University. He has been working as a university lecturer and researcher since 2007. He has teaching/training and project management experience in GIS, remote sensing, photogrammetry, Web GIS, 3D mapping, land registration, land use, and land governance strategies. His work has also been published in internationally reputable and indexed journals. In the future, he is interested in researching land governance, land information/cadaster, and geospatial science.

Solomon Dargie Chekole (Ph.D.) is an Assistant Professor of Land Policy and Governance in the areas of Land Administration, Land Management, Land Policy, Land Surveying and Cadastral Systems, Geo-information at the Institute of Land Administration, Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. He has graduated with his BSc degree in Land administration, Bahir Dar University in 2010. He received his M.Sc.. degree in Geodesy and Geo-informatics in 2013 from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden.

Zinabu Getahun Sisay (M.Sc., Assistant professor) is an Assistant Professor of Land Surveying and Photogrammetry/Remote sensing at the Institute of Land Administration, Bair University, Ethiopia. He has graduated with his BSc degree in Land administration and Surveying, Bahir Dar University in 2011. He has been at Aalto University, Finland as academic exchange student in the area of Geomatics for one full academic (2013/14). He received his M.Sc..

Habtamu Bishaw Asress (Ph.D.) is an assistant professor in Land Ppolicy and Ggovernance, in the Institute of Land Administration, Bahir Dar University.  He has got PhD in 2021 from Bahir Dar University in a joint PhD program by Bahir Dar University and DAAD in land policy and Governance. He has rich experience in teaching and research in the area of real property valuation, real estate economics and land governance. Dr. Habtamu has provided different trainings for rural and urban land administration experts and other stakeholders at different place and time.

Habtamu Sitotaw Semahagne (Ph.D.) is an Assistant Professor of Land Policy and Governance in the areas of Land Law, Land Policy, Land Governance and Federalism at the Institute of Land Administration, Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. He Obtained his first degree from Wollo University, Ethiopia with LLB (First Degree of Laws) in 2013. He received his M.Sc.. degree in Land Administration and Management, Area of Focus in Real Property Law from Bahir Dar Unievrsity in 2016. He also obtained M.Sc..

Hailemariam Misganaw Shiferaw (M.Sc..) is a lecturer of Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering in the department of Land Administration and Surveying, ILA, Bahir Dar University and previously in Dire Dawa University. He gives lectures and delivers trainings and community services in the areas of GIS, Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, Surveying, Geodesy, Quantity Surveying, GNSS (GPS), and others.

Bekele Bedada Damtie (Ph.D.) is an Assistant Professor of GIS and Remote Sensing at the Institute of Land Administration, Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. His expertise lies in land surveying, environmental solutions through GIS and remote sensing, cadastral surveying, and geo-information. He obtained his BSc in Surveying Technology from Adama University in 2007 and an M.Sc.. in Geodesy and Geo-informatics from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, in 2012. Previously, he served as the Chair of Geodesy and Geo-informatics at the Institute. Dr.

Habtamu Awulachew Zimbele (M.Sc.) is lecturer at the Institute of Land Administration, Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. His expertise lies in land administration and surveying, GIS and remote sensing, cadastral surveying, and geo-information. He obtained his BSc in Land Administration and Surveying from Bahir Dar University in 2018 and an M.Sc.. in Geo-information from Bahir Dar University, in 2023. Mr. Habtamu has made significant contributions in cadastral surveying, GIS management, urban planning, and infrastructure development.

Kindu Temesgen Abebe (M.Sc.) is a lecturer in Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering at the Institute of Land Administration, Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. His expertise includes satellite positioning, geodetic surveying, land surveying and cadastre, photogrammetry, cartography, GIS, and remote sensing. He earned his BSc in Land Administration from Bahir Dar University in 2012 and completed his MSc in Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering at Adama Science and Technology University in 2017.
