The Faculty of Computing evaluated final-year undergraduate students' final-year projects following its academic calendar to meet graduation requirements. In less than a month, all students are expected to graduate. On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, teams of three or four students presented a total of forty-six projects, and about fifty teachers attended to evaluate the projects. Students are working on putting into practice fully functional digital automated technology systems that operate from a simulated system or the deployed server. Additionally, the students' projects covered distributed systems, problem-solving, Android apps, e-commerce, telemedicine, knowledge retrieval systems, blockchain, and an AI-driven demand assessment system.
To encourage students to put in more effort for better project participation, the FC committee will be expected to select the best projects from the evaluation and present the team with an award. A total of 171 students are anticipated to graduate for the 2025 academic year from the faculty of computing's existing programs in computer science, information technology, information systems, software engineering, cybersecurity, and ITBED.
