Recent Events of EiTEX

The International Conference on Cotton, Textile and Apparel Value Chain in Africa (CTA-2025), which was organized by the Ethiopian Institute of Textile and Fashion Technology (EiTEX), Bahir Dar University, for the 13^th time on May 2-3/ 2024, was successfully completed. 

The conference was full of interesting events, such as research work presentations, discussions, MoU signing, well well-organized exhibition, and an incredible fashion show were among the many fascinating activities that took place during the conference.

The participants of this historic conference acknowledged its vital significance to the development of the sector and mentioned to continue with progress to the level to address issues in the textile, apparel, leather, and fashion design in the world inline with the development of the nation through the sector as one of the potential resources in Ethiopia.
