The Bahir Dar University STEM Center organized its 3rd STEM-Girls camp program from January 15 to 22, 2018. The training was held at the main campus of the university where dormitories and training facilities were provided for the program. 60 students from grades 9 to 12 of all public and private high schools found in Bahir Dar City attended the training. A national robotics and engineering competition was held in Addis Ababa inside the Ethiopian Academy of Sciences campus from Nov 6 - 10 organized by Ministry of Education, UNESCO, Ethiopian Academy of Sciences and STEM Synergy.
