Former Bahir Dar STEM students; Melkamu Tadesse, Menberu Zeleke and Melkamu Fekadu  project work prevails in Solve IT: Innovation Cempetition. 

Their project work is awarded 100,000.00 (ETB).

Bahir Dar University, Bahir Dar STEM Incubation Center is conducting outreach program from July 15, 2011 E.C. to August 30, 2011 E.C.

It is a 45 days intensive science  and ICT demonstration training for students from Grade 5 to Grade 9  school students.

Bahir Dar University in collaboration with Bahir Dar STEM Incubation Center is conducting an outreach program for grade 10 school girls for 25 days with a motto "Girls Can Code".  It has been a couple of weeks since it was  formally started by the Research and Community Service Vice President of Bahir Dar University. It will continue till the end of August, 2019.

Bahir Dar University STEM Incubation Center students participate in the grand finale of Solve IT 2019 and the first Robosoccer cup competition which is carried out by iCog Labs in collaboration with the U.S Embassy and JICA, from August 16 – 17/2019, Addis Ababa. The team accomplish the competition by ranking the third.

Ethiopian Institute of Textile and Fashion Technology (EiTEX) Conducted the 8th  International Conference on Cotton, Textile and Apparel Value Chain in Africa (CTA - 2019) from June 7-8, 2019. During this conference there was also an exhibition that shows different products which were done by Selam Campus students. Bahir Dar University STEM Center Students visit the exhibition and they were very inspired.
