Bahir Dar University Becomes a Member of the IIENetwork

We are excited to share that Bahir Dar University has joined the IIENetwork (www.iie.org), a global association of more than 1,500 institutions committed to international education. This opportunity comes as a result of BDU’s participation in IIE’s Internationalization Workshop in Ethiopia.

As an IIENetwork member, BDU will gain access to international education resources, including research on student mobility, opportunities for academic collaboration, and exclusive networking events. Students and faculty members can also explore scholarship and fellowship programs administered by IIE, such as the Fulbright Program and the Gilman International Scholarship.

This membership strengthens BDU’s efforts to enhance international cooperation, promote student and faculty exchanges, and position itself as a globally recognized institution.
