A faculty member has Successfully defended his Ph.D. Dissertation!

Mr. Wuhibegezer Ferede, an Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science and International Studies and a researcher at Blue Nile Water Institute in Bahir Dar University, has successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation. Mr. Wuhibegezer has completed his Ph.D. degree in two and a half years with the highest grade “Excellent” on October 27, 2020. Dr. Wuhibegezer conducted his Dissertation on a timely topic “Ethiopia: Challenging the foundations of Hydro-hegemony in the Eastern Nile Basin” under the supervision of the distinguished Professor Mohamed Salih.

Dr.Wuhibegezer had completed his Ph.D. in two and a half years, within the shortest possible time to finish the terminal degree based on the university’s standard. Currently, the department has more than 18 Ph.D. students enrolled in the program. The department and the faculty are proud to have such a shining student who completed his Ph.D. within a short period.
