Areas of interest to do research include:

  1.  Gender and Agriculture (Rural Livelihoods): What appropriate agricultural technologies, appropriate intervention approaches, what other livelihood alternatives would help to improve the livelihoods of rural resource poor communities especially Women farmers and Youth.     
  2. Gender Mainstreaming efforts in Education and other sectors and its role in empowering the powerless communities (Women, Youth, Disable people, etc)in economic, social, and political terms.
  3. Gender and Micro-enterprise base livelihoods in Semi urban and Urban areas: How much the micro-enterprises, especially home based businesses help in improving the livelihoods of semi urban and urban poor communities (Women and Youth).
