TEACHING RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaching different Ethiopian and African history courses in Regular, extension and Summer programs from 2000 – 2003.
Currently Teaching Historical Research Methods II for undergraduate students.
MAJOR RESEARCH INTERESTS
I am interested to conduct historical researches on themes like Environmental History, Medieval Ethiopian Culture and History, and Religious History of Ethiopia. My interest in these historical themes emanate from my belief that Ethiopia is rich in its natural resources and culture both in the past and at present, but it is one of the poor and backward nations of the word. Why? History may give us answers and, of course, recommendations.
