Entrepreneurship Development and Incubation Center (EDIC) is striving to contribute important drivers of economic growth, productivity, and employment, and as a key aspect of economic growth in Ethiopia with the specific objectives of; Incubation of technology-based tenants, Building an entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region, To move towards entrepreneurial university, Identify research thematic areas, organizing workshops and seminars in business and entrepreneurship areas and Provide tailor-made short term training for public and private sector customers, just to mention a few.

Currently, Bahir Dar university Entrepreneurship Development and Incubation Center (EDIC) completed all the necessary steps to prepare the first-ever start-up camps of its kind in April 2022 at Bahir Dar University. All Entrepreneurship incubation centers in Bahir Dar University and other partners will be in charge of successfully running the start-up camps.
