The 5th Annual Science Conference organized by Bahir Dar University College of Science was held for the last two consecutive days with a theme of “Scientific thinking and research for solutions” at Peda Campus, Auditorium Hall.

Dr. Delele Worku, Dean of College of Science, after his welcome speech, told the participants that the conference would be of a perfect opportunity by adding practical knowledge and theoretical insight for those who work for the development of Science and technology, industry, Science education, science research and professional development.

 College of Science, Bahir Dar University, has extended the deadline of abstract submisssion by a week. The important dates has been rescheduled as

The abstract shall be as of  the following:



Professor Ensermo Kelbessa, the renowned Scientist who cultivated Ethiopian Biologists in AAU, decorated and shared his invaluable experiences on the 4th Annual Science Conference (ASC-2016) in BDU, has passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016. 

We lost him sadly, but he will remain in the mind of BDU intellectuals.

College of Science wishes his soul to rest in peace and  his grief-stricken family to console
